How your audit works
You'll agree a budget and timetable at the start. You'll get a list of what we need well before the work starts, a planning meeting, a written early warning promptly if an issue comes up, and close-down meetings with your finance team and directors before anything is signed. A partner reviews every file before the report is signed. What happens in an audit has the detail.

Questions
Do you audit companies in Cambridge?
Yes. Straight Audit audits companies, groups and charities in Cambridge and across Cambridgeshire. The audit is carried out and signed by Anstey Bond LLP, registered auditor C002766607.
Does a company in Cambridge need an audit?
The rules are the same everywhere in the UK. A private company can usually skip the audit if it meets two of three tests: turnover of £15m or less, a balance sheet total of £7.5m or less, and 50 employees or fewer. Being part of a larger group, or a request from shareholders, can change that. The audit checker works through it.
Do you only do audits?
Yes. Your existing accountant can keep doing the bookkeeping, accounts and tax, and we carry out the audit alongside them. Many companies prefer it that way.
